We are looking for a National Sales Director who will have responsibility for their Key Contractor, Housebuilder, and Major Projects sales channels.
This newly-created post will carry a great deal of responsibility for both sales and people within the channels, and we are looking for an inspiring leader, and one who will have in-depth experience of the construction sales process.
The position also comes with the clear possibility of further progress for the candidate within the business, and we are therefore looking for someone of exceptional character and ability.
- To lead, develop, & manage sales & profitability within the designated channels
- Encourage best practice through the business’ agreed supply chain agreements & national accounts
- Develop & implement future strategy for the designated channels with an emphasis on innovation
- Provide strong leadership & direction to all team members, including performance management, coaching, mentoring, & career development
- Manage channel resources & budget
We expect that the successful candidate will be based on or near the M62 Corridor, and that he/she will have an outstanding record of success in sales, people management, and budgeting from within the construction sector. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who thinks a step ahead, implements with a relentless drive, and who embodies the professionalism & integrity the business is known for.
