This opportunity has been created within the distribution sales channel, and we are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager with the ability to contribute to the ongoing growth and profitability of the company by achieving sales objectives through the independent merchant sector.
Field based with a home office facility, you will play a major role in the development and implementation of the independent merchant business strategy in a newly-formed North West region. This will include taking responsibility for achievement of sales budgets, targeting new business, management of nominated key accounts, and driving direct-to-site activity.
You must be able to demonstrate success as an experienced salesperson, with relevant industry experience, and an in-depth knowledge of the routes to market. You should have previous involvement in the development and implementation of sales strategy, achieved through excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with a commitment to team working, and a drive and enthusiasm to succeed.
