The Business Development Manager will drive project sales in the Commercial, Residential, and Industrial Channels through effective specification sales, and key account management.
The business has market-leading products, excellent working practices, and realistic growth targets for the North East region.
- Identify and develop commercial project & specification opportunities in line with the company strategy.
- Fully manage & be responsible for, enquiries from inception to delivery, specification to order placement.
- Identify and develop relationships with key influencers and decision makers within the Company target organisations. These include Architects, M&E Consultants, Main Contractors, M&E Contractors (National & Regional), Local Authorities, Specialist Contractors & Installers, OEMs, Commercial Building Developers, and End-user clients.
The ideal candidate for this role will be someone highly motivated, with a demonstrable track record in selling to the target markets described. External sales experience is essential, and we want someone highly commercially aware who can identify and capitalise on opportunities at every level of the project chain.
